floral special2

Coming up on May 8th, 2021,from 10 am to 2 pm, we will be hosting a preorder pickup party through our studio window.  We will be joined by The Bearded Iris Floral who is making special Mother’s Day floral arrangements and taking orders through their new website. You can pickup both orders on Saturday through our side window, shopping each website separately.

We have a generous gift bundle featuring florals, as well. When placing your order use the Local Pickup shipping option and leave a note for us with your order that you plan to pickup that Saturday.   We’ll also have native wildflower seed bombs on site available for free.

Alternately, you can proceed with making a weekday afternoon appointment (limited hours) and pickup your Apothecary Muse order then. The Bearded Iris Floral arrangements will be prepared for Saturday, May 8th pickup ONLY.

Apothecary Muse isn’t planning to resume participating in public, local events during the pandemic until herd immunity is achieved.  At that point, it may be more selective than before.  We appreciate your continued support!

Coming soon to a trade show near you?

Well, at least there’s one and it’s new to me.  It’s a start, though!  With a growing foundation partnering with regional brick and mortar retail locations to sell my product, I wanted to reach to the fringe of my network.  Although I’ve worked in the outdoor and wellness retail world and attended trade shows on behalf of other businesses, I am honored to represent my own brand at one finally!  It is my intention to stay within the athletic and outdoor adventure world, Philadelphia is far enough mileage-wise that I expect to see some new faces.  As a new exhibitor showcasing a unique – and relevant – style of product outside their typical bikes and bike parts lineup, they interviewed me on their website, to introduce my business to their attendees.  Those were some good questions!

NEWS: Design Mania WINNER

The bar of soap submitted by Apothecary Muse owner, Eryn Hughes, WON the 2017 Design Mania soap challenge by Making Soap Magazine!! From Eryn, “I am seriously humbled by this announcement, as I expect number the votes for all the designs were close. The skill and creativity from the designers and contestants truly made this a unique experience. I’m told this is an honor bestowed on behalf of the industry, perhaps because of the magazine’s reach? Of the designs presented for us to embark on, I chose this one for its natural ingredients (including colorants and essential oil), outdoor scenery and slab/tray mold layout. The citrus oil, activated charcoal and Shea butter make this an excellent deodorizing and polishing bar of soap for after a serious adventure in hot climate. “

Customer Feedback

Occassionally, I’ll get some feedback from a customer that really stands out.  My product spoke to them in a meaningful way.  This is fascinating to me as my process engages both creative and analytical methods, many of which are not apparent in the commercial side of my industry.  It is my only hope that the aromatherapy blends I choose trigger deeper thought and lend themselves to continuous learning for the user.

From a fellow cyclist and coach – and professional medical doctor – this feedback was posted about a custom salve I made for bumps, bruises and broken bones from athletic pursuits to my facebook page:

Erin your Pittsburgh Roubaix Joint & Muscle Salve is amazing!!! Thank you so much, it’s really helping me move today and be a better person…because without it I was like an angry Betty White when I woke up today. wink emoticon
